RAM Ball Mount Information & Instructions

Compatible RAM Ball: RAM® Round Plate with Ball (RAM-202U) Size C - 1.5” Ball

Stratum Outdoors RAM Mount Assembly Instructions

Compatible with Stratum Transducer Pole. RAM ball and arms sold separately.
Note: If the mount does not spin freely, slightly loosen the bolts.

Required Tools:

  • 8mm wrench

Step 1: Prepare and Position the RAM Ball Plate

Direction of the bolts does not matter

  1. [Optional] If mounting the shortest bolt as pictured, insert it before sliding the RAM Mount and Pole Collar down the pole.

  2. Align the Pole Collar’s interior extrusion with the groove on the pole.

  3. Slide the RAM Mount down the pole with the triangle portion facing down.

  4. Slide the Pole Collar down the pole with the grooved body facing down.

  5. Position the RAM Mount below the Pole Collar at the desired mounting location.

  6. Tighten the wing nut on the Pole Collar to secure it at the preferred height.

Step 2: Secure the RAM Ball to the Collar

  1. Slide the RAM mount and pole collar together. (The bolts will go through the RAM mount and ride horizontally in the pole collar. If the RAM mount gets stuck sliding over the pole collar, back out the thumb screw on the side of the RAM mount)

Step 3: Line Everything Up

  1. Line up the RAM round plate holes with the RAM mount holes. Prepare to insert bolts through the pole collar.

Step 4:

  1. Insert the included bolts through the mounting holes in the RAM ball plate and into the collar.

Step 5:

  1. Hand tighten all hardware.

  2. Tighten each bolt/nut with an 8mm wrench.
